It's here! It's here! 

As you may have noticed, I'm a keeper of memories. I'm obsessed with it. Beautiful photos and videos and various ways of capturing memories so they can last forever - these are the things I get excited about. So, this extraordinary video, made by our amazing friend Micah at mwcreative.co, is one of the most wonderful, most meaningful gifts I could ever receive. He used his drone to get some incredible shots of our venue, Anvil Ranch. And he captured the exact essence of our day - in all of its beautiful, natural, imperfect, playful, heartfelt glory.

Spotlight: The Lone Bellow

Last night Jimmy and I decided on a whim to drive 70 miles down to Felton, CA to see one of our favorite bands play at a tiny venue. It was a rough Monday. All I really wanted to do when I got home was curl up in a ball and watch Dexter. But I know that two of the things in this world that make me feel best are 1. spontaneous adventures with my love and 2. singing and dancing to live music. So we picked up some deeeelicious pumpkin cider, and went on our way.

The venue was tiny (in the best way). We already had plans to see them at the Fillmore this Friday, but I'm so glad we got to see them in this small, intimate space. Highlights of the night were a quiet and emotional Watch Over Us, and an absolutely beauuuutiful cover of Slip Slidin' Away.

Euro Gif Surprise!

This is some sort of holiday miracle. What holiday you ask?? Well since you asked, today is National Chocolate Milkshake Day! Yummm. But that's besides the point.

The miracle is that as I went to add a photo here on Blogger, I saw this secret photo folder called "from your phone", which I've never looked in before. And in that folder, I found these hilarious gifs from our Euro trip circa March 2012. Where did these come from!? Who created them? Not me. If you have the answer please let me know, but in the meanwhile I'll just bask in the delight of these awkward yet joyful gifs of Jimby and I in France, Switzerland and Ireland.
